About Us

The Memphis Coin Club, Inc. was founded in 1936 and has been a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) since the founding of the club.

The club hosts two shows a year in the Memphis Area, The Memphis Coin Show and the International Paper Money Show. Please visit the sections of the website dedicated to these shows. Several members also often attend shows in throughout the United States, particularly in the Southeast.

Our membership is comprised of individuals who range in age from 8 to 80+. The members are invited to actively participate in the bi-monthly club meetings as well as the two shows. Traditionally, the first show of the month is an auction where members can submit lots for sale. Visitors are allowed to bid on items in this auction.

The club sponsors one of the most extensive numismatic reference libraries in the region. Presently, this library is available for reference at the Highland Branch Library. This library is constantly being updated as new publications become available and classic; out-of-print references are a part of the current collection. Members can request the addition of specific references from the Library Chairman.

When And Where We Meet

Meetings are generally held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month with the exception of months where holidays coincide with a meeting date. Check on the MCC Calendar of Events for our current meeting and event schedule.
