What are Cookies?
Cookies are nothing more than simple text files stored on your computer. They are generated by websites such as this one as a means of storing data. For the Memphis Coin Club website, the only data we store is a check to see if you wanted the site to remember you on your next visit. That's it. They are not viruses or spyware, even though many commercially available products detect them as such. A wealth of information on cookies is available on the internet. For a quick reference, try Wikipedia.
